About DevBenchr

DevBenchr is a bench of small, fast developer tools: format and validate JSON, encode and decode Base64 and URLs, convert CSV to JSON, generate UUIDs and hashes, and inspect JWTs.

Every tool runs entirely in your browser. That matters for developer data: API responses, tokens and configuration often contain secrets, and none of it is ever sent to a server here.

New tools are added over time, each on its own page with an explanation and examples.

How we build our tools

• Free, with no sign-up. Open the page and use the tool. There are no accounts and no paywalls.
• Private by default. Tools run in your browser wherever possible. When a server is needed, we process what is required to answer your request and do not log or store it.
• Fast and focused. One job per tool, done well, on any device.
• Funded by ads. Ads keep the tools free. They sit in clearly labelled spaces and never between a tool and its result.

DevBenchr is made by Codebit, a small independent studio in Copenhagen, Denmark, that builds websites and apps. DevBenchr is one of a family of small, free utility sites that share the same simple design and the same privacy principles.
